TotalBay texts customers from your shop's own number through a phone relay app (InfiniReach) on the shop phone, or straight through Twilio. Set it up under Connections.
If the shop phone fails a text, doesn't send it within 3 minutes, or goes offline, the same text goes out once from the shop's Twilio number. Review asks, reminders and specials never go out through the backup. The owner gets at most one "phone's acting up" text an hour.
The Outbox and each RO show whether every text was Sent, Delivered or NOT DELIVERED, and which number it went from.
Put the owner's cell in Owner cell for alerts at the top of Settings. It gets a text for every check-in, the daily summary (car count, sales, average ticket, open jobs) at the time you choose, and Mark's alerts. Each can be turned off.
