A canned job bundles labor, parts and fees so common work goes onto a ticket in one tap.
Use one: on the RO tap Add canned job, or pick it in Phone Quote or on an inspection item.
Make one: Settings → Canned jobs, or build an RO and tap Save as canned job.
Labor can come from the labor guide, fixed hours or a fixed dollar amount.
Parts are generic part types. They are priced for the exact vehicle like any other part.
Package price (optional): one set price, with car, truck/SUV and diesel tiers and an extra-quart price for oil changes.
Sales tax on a package: the customer sees one package line. Behind it TotalBay splits the price into a parts portion (taxed) and labor. The parts portion is the real parts price when the car has a tag, otherwise the parts amount you set for that package (40% if left blank).
